Two Cliburn Semifinalists

Congratulations to Yangrui Cai and Yanjun Chen as well as their present teachers, Stanislav Ioudenitch and Ari Vardi! Yangrui and Yanjun both made the semifinals and Yangrui also took a prize for best performance of the commissioned work by Gabriela Montero. It is a unique privelege to teach so many talented young musicians from their formative years and watch them grow from the ages of 6-7 all the way into their 20s. Needlees to say, gives a very unique teaching perspective.
